Title: I'm in Japan!
Post by: grasshopper on December 04, 2005, 06:04:23 AM
For work rite now! It's not as exciting as I thought it would be. I'm in Tokyo waiting for a flight to Misawa. We spent a day in Tokyo and I can honestly tell you that I did not see one new motorcyle. Every bike I saw was at least 10 years old. Nobody was on a newer machine. I was hoping I would see something that they don't sell in the states. But it was nothing but older CBR400's, GS1200's a couple ducati's and so many scooters I can't even tell you.

Get me out of this place I want to come back home! >:(

Amazing how the modern world allows you to stay connected.

I'm sitting in the airport at Daytona Beach right now, in sight of the speedway.

Not looking forward to going home to snow.

get yourself some pimp jap leathers while you're there seeing as youre in the market for a new set. You're about the typical japanese size so you'd have no problems.

Hey Paul, I read your article in Harley Enthusiast, good article, but what about the other non-harley riders, don't we make a difference too? ;D

No, but I'm at Misawa Airforce base rite now with F14, 15's and 16's ripping over my head. I imagine after flying a jet like that, fast motorcycles and cars just don't cut it anymore.

I'm here doing a contract job for their base warning system.

The weather sucks, rain sleet and snow. Fun to work in. I LOVE IT! >:(
