I've recently learned that Milwaukee is #7 on the list of the most hungry cities in the country. The hurricanes that devastated the gulf coast have diverted needed funds from other programs, such as those for local food banks. Hunger Task Force is at crisis levels, with less than enough food for a week.

If you're not in the Metro-Milwaukee area, check your local pantry to see if they need donations, as many are in the same boat. A little goes a long way.
Yes, with the all the hurricane problems, most local food pantries haven't seen the normal amount of donations. We had a food drive out my way for a local pantry. And we dontated a couple of turkey dinners for Thanksgiving.
