I have been patiently waiting for ROC purse money, and still no checks. More dissapointing to me is the fact that I have called CCS offices LOTS of times, left very polite messages and had ZERO returned calls. How is this possible? I LOVE roadracing, but I hate this brand of customer service! What is a guy supposed to do?
Call CCS again.
You could call Road Racing World if you're not getting any help.
Has CCS changed their number again?
Your slow a$$ didn't win any money! :o :-/

let the rest of who are waiting if you ever see any money ::)
At the track they did say Mid December. Lets wait until then before getting too worked up. I know WE ALL can use the money that is owed to us but give it a bit more time and see what happens. As for the no contact back from emails and phone calls...thats bad business. But remember, right now "CCS" is just Kevin with not much help and I am sure he is swamped trying to finalize '05 and setup '06.

From Pam @ CCS.......
Scott,
The checks for the CCS class champions are being cut today in the Chicago office – I have to prepare letters for each check because some will receive one check for several races, so I hope to get them in the mail by tomorrow. The breakdown is as follows:
AM and Experts in each class are paid as follows, if they qualify:
1st - $500
2nd - $300
3rd - $200
4th- $150
5th - $100
As far as the Team Challenge Pts fund and the Championship Bonus for Formula USA, I am still waiting for Kevin to send me the results. He promised me this week sometime. The payouts for these are:
FUSA – Classes Superbike, 600 Sportbike, 750 Sportbike and Thunderbike each pay the following:
1st - $2,000
2nd - $1,250
3rd - $1,000
4th – $750
5th - $500
Team Challenge pays overall Champion as follows:
1st - $1,500
2nd - $1,000
3rd - $ 900
4th - $800
5th - $725
6th - $650
7th - $575
8th - $500
9th - $450
10th - $400
Thanks,
Pam
Nate:
I hear next year Clear Channel has boosted the CCS budget and is revamping the program by adopting the following:
1.) hire enough employees to be able to provide customer service.
2.) answering the phone on the 3rd ring or sooner.
3.) Adopt an interactive online registration system so you can confirm your classes entered and the date they were entered.
4.) All payouts will happen at the track.
5.) The same timing and scoring system used at the track will update to the website. With full race results, best lap time, etc.
6.) they will pretend the racers are "customers" and treat them as such.
7.) Just kidding. All the thousands of CCS racers will again be serviced by an office staff of like two.
Or... they can say "screw you all" pack up shop and make everyone race WERA, the only other big game in town. :o

WERA has not been a provider in the area this side of the world for years and years and years. That is not a viable alternative here.
I will take Scott's quote of:
At the track they did say Mid December. Lets wait until then before getting too worked up.If they reasonably told everyone that, well, there's gonna be some waiting. Not paying attention to that statement isn't going to get anything done sooner.
Thanks for listening at Daytona, Scott.
