... but I know the truth.

Mr. Onwiler, Mr. Buxton would like to have a word with you....
:o
Is this the "Value added" conversation where he tries to drive up the price? ;D
You know, as many times as you've threatened to sell Renee, and then you get mad when I try to buy her? ::)

No...
This is where he would like to show you a new section of the track in the back 40. Nevermind the shovel in his hand.....
:o
Here I am, just trying to help out. Laura finally gets that daughter she always wanted, Mom gets a granddaughter, you Buxtons finally get rid of the most annoying, expensive, and burdensome thing in your life, and I get a whip-smart girl to help me get this novel off the ground. A good deal for everyone, yes?
I've got $38 in checking. Will that be enough? :D
Well since you've put it that way, let me check....
;D
(If you only knew what you would be getting yourself into. Heh, heh, heh... We are in the teenage years now.)
I found another .79 in the couch cushions, and I'll pay for shipping!
Tell Renee I pay a dollar a week allowance, and if she gets straight A's I can see about getting her a scholarship to Kankakee Community College, rated 196th in state!

Paul isn't the only one who owns guns, and you've seen me shoot. The little girl would be in good hands....
Here's one for you Chris...

Fur cryin' out loud, Don! I don't want a pet, I want a daughter!
Renee's already half-raised, and she seems pretty sweet. You just never know what you'll get if you make a new one. Buxtons have already spent half the money necessary to build a good daughter. I couldn't build one as nice for the same money. If they're willing to sell cheap, I'm thinking it's a pretty good deal!
Oh, sorry. After seeing that pic of you an MJ I just kinda thought you'd like a little gerbil...
;D :P
You can rent mine for special occasions. She's fiesty, cute and can let out a mean burp. :o ;) ;D
Are you talking about your daughter or your gerbil?

Cook, that was just plain low. Extremely clever, but low! >:( ;D
Ath...um, Alexa, your daughter is just too old. You see, Rhiannon calling me Daddy would trigger an entirely different set of responses than I had in mind were I to adopt the Buxton child....
Now if you WERE actually talking about your gerbil, Edgar seems quite interested.... :P
Well, I was feeling a little bit guilty... :-/ ;D
See, here's my plan. I let the Buxtons do all the hard work first. Now that the dirty diapers and pediatrician visits are all done and the girl is a perfect, well-behaved little A+ princess, I take over. I get to enjoy the golden years of teaching her how to drive, chasing her boyfriends with a meat cleaver, getting her out in CCS on a 125, buying her a prom dress.... You know, the good stuff! Then I send her back before I have to pay for the wedding! ;D

There is no way I can reply to this and NOT get in trouble is there?

You could try....
;D
Quoteand the girl is a perfect, well-behaved little A+ princess,
Whaaaa haaaaa haaaaa haaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, the A+ part is right. ;D Just remember, there are times that you tell her that she takes after her dad.
;)

The last time I rented the Gerbil to you I didn't get it back...something about a mishap with a...
