Here's a pic of our newest addition to Team Stumpy. He's on his head in the black circle. When I told my mom he's on his head, she said, "Just like his father!"

Actually we don't know if it's a boy or girl yet, but I think it's a boy so I call it he and will apoligize to it later if I'm wrong. We call it Todd. As in Todd the Tadpole.
Heather
Congratulations!
It is a life changing event to have a child, but each hug they give you makes you feel like nothing else.
I'm sure if they video taped it, you can see his right (throttle hand) twitching!
That is so cool. Congragulations to you and your wife.

Is it bad I still think puppies are cuter than babies?

Nope, not at all.
However, there will be one exception and that will be that your child is the cutiest of all!
;)

CONGRATS!!!
Calling it a boy is not such a bad thing. Think of it this way, wouldn't you rather have you girl leave the hospital on blue, than your boy leave it in pink???
I've got one of each, you'll be blessed either way.
Good luck,
Dave
Thanks Guys, If you look close at the ultra sound you can see the right wrist twisting and the foot shifting! Alexa Have you ever made a leather for a 2 year old ;)
Stumpy
Stumpy, glad you replied to this thread, for a moment I thought you were the last to know. Congrats! Hopefully the Honda red blood isn't genetic, Kawa kids go faster.
i spent a great deal of womb time at the racetrack. Have you been doing anything to properly condition this child before birth?
I didn't know it at the time, but I was pregnant at Blackhawk in August and just sniffing away at the race gas! My baby's gonna be oxygenated!!!
Todd can smell the U4 a mile away now. And it makes him smile!
Huggs to Ike!! We miss your silly @ss too.
Heather
He looks just like his dad!!!
Hey Stumpy, if you want the kid to be real fast, make sure to get him a Suzuki, not a Kawi. Oh, and keep him off them bicycles. Those things are dangerous!
::)
Awesome you two! Congrats to you both! If you think racing is a thrill, just hang on for this ride!
Congrats you two! Before you know it you'll be grandparents. I know this. ;D
Todd? How about Valentino? He'd be the only lil kid in the UP with an Italian accent.
Congrats if I haven't already said it. I'm always careful what I say to pregnant women.
I thought I was complimenting my wife once when I said she didn't look so pregnant from behind. Started WWIII over that one. Sheesh...go figure.
;)
Another one for the pit crew? Congratulations!!
;D ;D ;D
Racer Replica...
;D ;D
Congrats!

The story behind Todd: One night I was sitting on the couch and Buddy, my weiner dog, goes marching right across my stomach like he always does. Greg said, "Buddy, don't step on Todd!" and it stuck. Plus it really riles up my grandma and she says, "You're not really naming it Todd are you?!!!"
I'm easily amused these days, let me tell you!
Plus, I'd have to go with Sete using Nicky's accent if I used a MotoGP named. Set-taaa
Hey Heather--here's an idea for you on names. Eric and I came up with a pretty cool way to pick the name for our first baby...
We decided long ago that we didn't ever want to know the sex of our baby just to make things more interesting and fun. When it came to names, we just couldn't decide on much of anything. I was convinced I was having a boy and Eric was convinced it was a girl only because he says I'm never right. So, for a girl name we decided on Madison, but for a boy name we thought of a cute game. I liked Hayden and Sete so we decided when the baby was born whoever was in the GP points lead (of those two) is what we would name the baby. We all know the outcome, though...Maddie was born and blew the whole bet. I like her though, and she still looks cute in her leathers. :)
Congrats!
Tiff is still alive! Hi Tiff! :-*
I'll save Lil-D's pocket rocket for the Todd-pole,,,he'll be ready for it by the '06 Wegman, right?? ;)
Congrats!!
todd-pole.....You crack me up! I've been shining up the fiddy for "it" Boy nothing like sitting around and waiting for this thing to pop out:)Tiff, Great idea on names.

Hi guys! Yes, I'm alive, I was just hibernating for a while, trying to get used to my new job of 24-Hour-Mommy. It has it's perks, but I'm getting kind of worried that perhaps it isn't normal to go to the grocery store with Cheerios stuck to my clothes...Heather, you'll have to let me know if that happens to you too in a few months. :)
Seriously, though, becoming a mommy has been the greatest gift. You two won't recognize what used to be your lives once Todd gets here, but you'll love your new lives more than you can imagine. You'll sit back and wonder, "What did we used to do with our time???", and "I remember when I won the overall championship...where was Todd?" and you'll have to remind yourself that he (or she) wasn't even thought of yet. It's totally weird and totally wonderful all at the same time.
Hey Tiff,
I have a dachshund that's going to be on cheerios duty. I think our kid may starve to death once it figures out what a fun game it is to feed Buddy.
