Title: Janisch wins!
Post by: Super Dave on October 22, 2005, 02:53:43 PM
Jesse won Expert Heavyweight Superbike today.

His comment to me was, "There was no one in it."

I responded, "No, you were in it."

Anyway, nice job, National Champion.

He qualified third for FUSA Sportbike .7 sec behind Jeff Wood who used a qualifying tire.

Cool. Congrats to Jesse.

Rhiannon and Nicole (Hoffman) finished second in LW Team challenge riding the Team Vallely SV. Rhiannon also qualified 8th for tomorrow's F-USA Thunderbike race, less than a second off of Ed Key's pace (Q=6th). Ducati money's involved in this one, so the fast boyz (Denning, Wood) are planning to clean up.

Anyone else have any updates?

Denny Debuhr called me and told me he crashed out of second while battling with Simon Kowalski during that same Heavyweight race Jesse won. It would appear the Midwest was well represented! :D

Denning wound up second in Supertwins. Anyone one know the payout on the Duc money?

Rhiannon finished 12th in Supertwins after starting from the back. She was on a 748, and most of the field was on 998s, 999s & 1000s.  ;D.

I wonder who's Duc he was riding? Very cool anyways.

Congrats to Rhiannon and team!

Jesus Dave.  Buy some bigger panties.  Yours are obviously too tight...

Yes, we're all excited about your protege phenom, the GREAT Super Dave student Jesse Janisch.  Hey, I know what did it!  It's the 4&6 setup right?

Relax man.
I enjoyed seeing the results.  It didn't take anything away from the fact that Jesse won.

Sorry, you'll now have to buy some more clues.

First, I don't ride the bike.  Jesse does.  So, first and foremost, Jesse, who I consider a friend, rode the bike well.  High praise for a job well done.

All about the set up?  Yeah, sure.

But if you kept up with current events, Jesse has been riding for Scott Greenwood and Argo Cycles since April of this year.  Oh, you were at Road  America in April?  Oh, you were at Autobahn in September.

Yeah, I think Jesse did well.  No praise for him will get him nothing.  Praise from somewhere might get him noticed for the reality of what he can do well...race a motorcycle.

With that, Jesse was leading Formula Sportbike pulling away when something broke in his Argo Cycles Suzuki.  Earlier, he came from second to last on a damp track with a DOT rear to third.

As for panties?  LOL...I'm commando...   :P

Janishch had a pretty good lead when the bike broke. He is one fast dude..Pitted next to Greenwood and the gang. Nice bunch, must be something in the air up there in Wisconsin.
I had that Scott greenwood fellow next to me on the front row of all 4 races i was in. He's friggin fast too.

Okay Dave, so where's the press release on RRW (a site that gets noticed by people in the industry, unlike this one)?

THAT is where the post will make a difference.

And aside from Jesse winning the one CCS class (which I would agree, it didn't have anybody in it - of his caliber), I thought it was more impressive that he was well up in the lead in the FUSA classes.

There are lurkers on the board.

I don't do press releases for others unless I'm asked to.

How many people do you know that have won expert ROC races?  Again, no one of Jesse's caliber in his race, but he did still lead the FUSA race before breaking...

I made the post about what he did after he did it.  No way I could post what he hadn't done.

Am I proud of him?  Hel1 yeah!  Just like I'm proud when you do well, when Dano does well, etc.

Jesse's unique opportunity for himself is that he's young enough and capable enough that he could have the opportunity to have a  paid ride someplace, somewhere.  Maybe you don't see it, but others might.

Jesse doesn't come from a family of any great wealth.  This is an expensive "hobby" for everyone, but it can be way more expensive when you're trying to chase for the opportunity to possibly get a ride.

Out of those results posted, I know 5 of the people who won.  Certainly is an accomplishment though.

Absolutely!  I am too...  It's amazing to see how far he's gone in such a short time.  I just took it wrong when you got pissed that other people were mentioned in the thread.

There's so many topics that you choose to argue, and argue, and argue, and aruge, and argue, and argue, etc.

People are afraid to post their opinion, expecially when their opinion differs from yours.
