Title: Leftover Contingency
Post by: FUBAR606 on December 13, 2002, 06:49:19 PM
Anybody in the same boat of receiving Dunlop contingency money after the end of the season that will expire before the beginning of the '03 season?

If so, have you checked about what can be done so it does not go to waste? I have an email in to Dunlop asking them if the expiration can be extended, but I have not heard back from then yet.

If anybody else has been or is in the same situation, and has any suggestions, I'd be happy to hear them.

I know I'll be doing a practice session someplace, probably NFMP, before Daytona, but I doubt a Dunlop dealer will be there. So I doubt that will help.

Ideas?

I spoke with Dennis at SportTire Services about a month ago.  He told me that I could put those certs on an account to use when the season started.  You may want to check on that in your area.

David,

Good suggestion! I hadn't thought about setting up an account in that manner. I'll get with race Tire Services (the Dunlop dealer for the east coast) and see if they can arrange something.

If there is a Race Tire Service representative on this board, I'd appreciate you contacting me.

Anybody else have suggestions in case that does not work out?
