...that have nothing to do with racing but everything to do with motorcycles...
At approximately 8:00 this morning, Phil Methy, Lake-Shore H-D's brand-new service manager (he just started the job on Monday) was killed while riding his motorcycle to work. From what I understand, while making a left-hand turn into the dealership parking lot he was struck and killed by a man who had no business operating a motor vehicle - he had NEITHER A DRIVER'S LICENSE NOR INSURANCE (mandatory in IL). The bike, a 2004 full-dress Electra Glide, was punted maybe 100 feet, the fairing knocked CLEAN OFF.
Phil was flown from the scene but didn't make it. He leaves behind two children, ages 9 and 12.
That's so sad. :'(
Think the yagoff who punted him will do any serious time? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! It's not even illegal to run over motorcyclists! WE have it coming, right?

Reminds me of the f-stick who hit me head on in '85; no job, no insurance, no license...filed bankruptcy and walked away. Meanwhile, the medical community scoffed regularly and as one nurse put it (quote) "Serves you right for riding a motorcycle...."

Yup, the jag off that hit and killed my dad (SAME EXACT KIND OF ACCIDENT THAT HAPPENED TO THIS GUY) 5 years ago, nothing ever happened to him, they let him go home after the accident, the Will County Cop gave him failure to F*cking Yield!!!! >:(
What kind of bullsh*t is that?
On top of that, if you've ever been south on I-394 in Illinois and your coming to where it ends and route 1 continues on into Beecher, THEY HAVE THE LARGEST STOP SIGNS THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES, and the YO YO still blew through them!
Ok I'm done!
This is sad very, very sad.
Responsibility.

Also reminds me of 1994 after destroying my arm in a highside at Talladega I waited 3 hours IN THE WAITING ROOM when there was only one other person there and they just had a fever. I was told I brought it on myself. I'm usually pretty rational, but next time someone says that I'm going to end up in jail.
