F-40 incident had nothing to do with the Group 5 practice incident.  The F-40 was a simple bike down on track in a blind corner incident.

The other incident was severe.

hey rick pm me re this incident. If you can't reach me, CCS may be able to give you the name and number of a contact person.I've been told he tangled with another rider and went off riders left into the armco between 6 and 7.
The various ccs hangerson, malcontents, and wannabe gp stars actually came up with almost 2800 bucks at the track on sunday, which was given to his wife.  MANY THANKS to all that gave and for those who couldn't at the track, Rick may be able to steer you in the right direction, be it MARRC, Wegmans, or whatever.  Bill Davenport

The rider is Dennis Crowley.  I heard second hand of his misfortune from a mutual friend.  I knew him when he lived in Gainesville, a very nice guy.  It depressed me to hear how severe his injuries were.  Since I didn't hear it first hand I won't elaborate, but his injuries are severe either way.  I would like to donate something to help so someone please post (new post) with information on how to do that.  In the meantime one of our friends is going to the hospital.  Please pray for a speedy and complete recovery.

I want to commend Bill Davenport for putting the fund raiser together on Sunday and to all that donated and I want to blast anyone that didn't because you never know, it could be you that could use the help someday.

Responding to Larry Dodson.

Larry this is Fred.  I am in the business room of my hotel at Duke University Medical Center.  If you wish to donate you can call me direct, and I will make sure that his wife gets the money.  Dennis is in  the ICU of Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.  He has lost his right arm, and has suffered a severe head injury.  He has not been conscious since Saturday.  As  you know I have been in contact with Richardson daily, feel free to obtain my number and call anytime.  I am returning to Jacksonville, on or about Saturday.

Hey, Fred.  I just talked with Matt and he'll be forwarding my donation. I'm frantically trying to put the R1 together before Moroso, but tell his wife there are many people praying for his recovery.  I saw on another post that Rick Beggs (or someone he knows) is trying to set up something, hopefully that gets done soon and posted here.
