Title: Hey Southwest racers!
Post by: Zac on September 20, 2005, 11:10:26 AM
Since I haven't seen anything here yet, I guess I'll post it.

In case you've been under a rock for, well, at least the last week, major changes are afoot in the SW region.  As annouced at the rider's meetings in Vegas, CCS SW is becoming an affiliate and Randy and the Gang are taking control into their own hands.  The transfer of power will be complete by the November Firebird races (which CCS corporate was planning to cancel).

They have an awesome new website up at www.roadracesw.com with a forum and all.  And all the results and points are already up from last weekend's race, and it's only Tuesday.

Brian added lap times to the finishes (Las Vegas only). That is so cool.

We've got race results, points updated and lap times with finishes. And to think it's LESS THAN A WEEK after the races. That's never happened before. :o

Kinda makes you think why Clear Channel couldn't do the same thing for the rest of the regions.

Brian Kirkland... well done my man... well done.
