Title: 2000 TL 1000 R Plug Change
Post by: gsxrsrad1000 on September 06, 2005, 08:50:50 AM
I am changing spark plugs for a buddy of mine and wondering if all the body work is going to have to come off in order for me to change them?  Also I am assuming since this is a VTwin it only needs two spark plugs?  Any advice about changing the plug on this bike would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Yes you will only need two plugs. You shouldn't have to remove the tail section but I would recommend removing the side panels and at least loosening the radiator. It would be best to remove it as well. The front cylinder will be a lot of fun ::)
