Is this an open track day - just show up and register?
And, will we be able to register & tech friday night for the weekend's races? If so, how late on friday night?

Friday is an LP day. So you should be able to just show up.
Mike,
How can you pay for a practise day when you have zero dollars.
"Will race for entries", or just tell them I am there to serve as your chase vehicle!
This is a standard LP USA Sport Rider Day, CCS licensed riders are $75, all others are $125.
Schedule is posted on CCS Racing website along with a map of the track.
All vehicles must either pull straight into their pit stall or back into it since there is limited asphalt. There are over 250 spaces with optional power if the parking plan is followed, and the only PA speakers at this point come right off the back of the building along pit road. Because of this, we will limit announcements to official calls and requests, no play-by-play announcing until the full PA is set-up
See you there!
I wrote to the Summit Point Track Manager and asked this question:
"When will you be opening the gates for riders to set up pits? Thursday night or Friday morning? And .. at what time?"
And the answer is ...
"I think we'll open at 6:00 pm on Thursday to give people a little more time to get familiar with the new facility."
I thought everybody would like to know!
Kevin and Jeanne thanks for the info!
