Hey all,
I'm racing an SV with a stock motor and a Yoshimura slip-on (stock header).  I also have a certificate for an M4 exhaust system at dealer cost.  My question is:  would I notice any difference between the set up I have now and a full M4 system?  Thanks,

				In general, you're going to have better performance on a full system over a slip-on.  If nothing else it might save you a pound or two in weight, but then again 'zuk's have some pretty light exhausts to begin with.
If you've got the coin to drop, do it.  But dealer cost isn't really anything special, so if you need the money or if it would be better spent on tires/schools/races, I'd keep the yoshi.

I still don't even have tire warmers, so I think a full system would take a back seat to those for now.  I thought to ask because -- who knows, what if the stock header weighed 45 pounds or something.  Doesn't sound like that is the case, though.

				run the m4 full system,I am running one on my ss sv.It picked up almost 2hp on the dyno alone.With a custom map power commander and some other stuff it is at 80hp......

Take the money you'd spend on the M4 full race and take a really good racer development school...
Then later if you want, get the full exhaust.

				The guy doesn't even have tire warmers yet...  Dropping coin on a full exhaust system when he has one that is perfectly functional is foolish IMHO.

Uh, yeah....  That is the case.  A stock SV exhaust is like a boat anchor.  Honestly, it weighed more than some 4 cylinder systems I've removed.  On the other hand, the muffler is a big part of that, and you've got the slip on....  I couldn't belive how much mine weighed.  I used an Arrow full Ti system that weighs less than a popcorn fart!  M4 is your second best choice.  My Arrow made 2 more horses, back-to-back with an M4.
