Title: Barber- parking?
Post by: rotoboge on July 31, 2005, 07:32:59 AM
If one is driving a motorhome there, can they park it where they are pitted? Is there any charge if one can? Please advise... :)

Q:  Is camping allowed?

A:  Yes, for a fee paid to Barber Motorsports.  Self-contained RV's may setup in the paddock ($25-$30?).  Tent camping is in lot "C" ($15?), past the paddock entrance.

Q:  Is there power in the paddock?

A:  No power is available in the paddock area.  Outlets at the lower level of the media center/race control are reserved for emergency vehicle and staff use only.

Q:  Where can we pit?

A:  The paddock area is tiered.  The lowest level will be reserved for vendors, staff, corner workers, maintenance and emergency vehicles.  All other levels are available.  The asphalt in the paddock area must be protected.  Use the wooden blocks under your trailer hitches, stands, etc.  Parking for tow vehicles is above the paddock area.  Be kind to your neighbors, unload and park there so everyone has room.

Q:  Are dogs allowed?

A:  No, please review the track rules and regulations at this site: http://www.barbermotorsports.com/rules_regs.html
