Title: Question?
Post by: firerider on July 25, 2005, 05:26:40 AM
I was told that there are awards for the top 5 in each CLASS in each REGION at the end of the year. is this true?
So if you were 4th in UNL superbike overall in the southeast region you would get a trophy? anyone

IIRC, it was top 3 last year...  I might be wrong though.

So top three in each class for each region?
To clarify I am not talking about the ROC, I am talking about the year end points.

The way they did it last year was that each class in each region was given an award for 1-3.  If you received more than one class award in a region, it was added to your plaque.

I think that 1st places had different trophies, but 2-3 were plaques if I recall correctly.

So to clarify, if in the midwest, you had 1 3rd place class, you got 1 plaque.  If you had 1 - 3rd and 3 2nd place classes, you would still get one plaque.

If you placed in the GP region as well, or any other region, you received a separate plaque with your accomplishments there.

Yes you are correct top 3 only in each region.

Hey Jeff--

Last year we received plaques for 2nd & 3rd for each class; none were added together, and trophies for 1st.
