Another cool one is www.maps.google.com.
They have just updated the site and now you can pull maps from anywhere in the world.
I love the satelite shots, those have always facinated me. I tried to zoom in on our farm, but the closer I got the more blurry it became.
I wonder if the military really has those satelites that can actually see a person crossing the street.

They supposedly have satelites that can read the newspaper that you are reading but they won't say they do of course.
The picture of the guy that threw the hand granate at President Bush was taken with a satellite.
The military DOES have the Satellites you are talking about!! And More!! There are also Satellites that take "thermal" pics of "items of interest" when needed. They can see the thermal outline of items even if they have been removed from an area hours prior! Interesting or scarry - you decide!
