...just be glad you're racing at all. Not racing sucks. :( :-/
Bumper sticker matrial:
A bad day of Racing is still better than a good day at Work!
I've had 2 bad ones in a row.
Didnt even finish the first corner in the first race on sunday. two weekends in a row.
:-[
Well the one weekend i lost 4th gear then i crashed hard. The weekend after that I broke my crankshaft in half. >:( :'(
A good weekend racing is not taking a helicopter or an ambulance ride.
Cheers to that!
Winning is great, but having your good health is most important.
Sorry Stevie, paybacks suck! ;D ;D
just kidding!
Don't let it get you down. There are good weekends and bad weekends. You need the bad weekends to remind you how good the good weekends are! ;)

i hear Edgar and the Lithium boys keep taking out Stevie lately. ;D
;D ;D ;D
We put a bounty on his ass! 50 bucks if you take him out before turn one, then you deduct $5.00 for each corner after that. So far, me and Rob have gotten $50.00 each!

and it only cost you a million dollar paint job. ;D

Yeah...
Why don't you come to the track and "help"?
There's always someone that can use the input and company. Racing doesn't always have to be on the bike. You can get an incredible rush working with your rider. I've worked both sides.
Crewchief wanted. Must have race prepped SV650. ;D
A few good laps make all the bad stuff go away. This last weekend at BHF, I had those few good laps, despite a 9th place finish in that particular race.
Those laps made every bad moment up until that point, justifiable.
However, the logic I would have to question...
Good day at work = Bonus day = ~$14k lump sum
Bad day at track = Casts, braces & ~$3k in repairs
I'd take a few of the good days at work over the bad days at the track anytime :)

Do the letters KMA mean anything to you? :-* ;D
yes Kris... I know of a particular crew that would LOVE to have you help (out with the gas bill) around the pits and split (hotel costs too) times. ;D

Kris might apply? ;)
I'd rather be at the track with a broken bike than at work!!!!
Speaking of which, Super Dave, are you going to be at the August BHF? If so, want some help? I'm probably going to take a weekend off of work so I can finally get to a race weekend this year.
I've been working a lot of 7 day weeks, and have had a lot goin on. >:(
Worse than not racing is knowing it's going on and you can't even watch because you have to work. :P
No, I'll be at VIR, then Road Atlanta the next weekend.
When's the wedding date?
I went to Autobahn without a bike or entry money. All my friends crashed that weekend, and I was franticly fixing bikes all day long both days. I was so busy that I didn't have time to feel sorry for myself because I wasn't riding. What was my payback? MJ gave me a takeoff so I could coach at my next track day. Ed Key sent me his first place Thunderbike trophy, with a thank you note on the back! :o Edgar and Ike gave me a hard time. Plus that I got fed, beered, slapped on the back, and high-fived. In other words, it was WAY better than staying home.
See my signature line below for the proper attitude towards a bad day at the track....

All work and no play makes Nate a dull boy. Get yer butt out there, and Jen's too!
