1) When riding through deep sand, it's easier to go fast. Get your weight over the back tire and steer with that because the front won't do much.
2) Bring spares (Paul did some creative riding on my KX125 after I snapped off the clutch lever)
3) Paul's 450 four stroke is much easier to ride than my 125 two stroke (more torque, broader power band).
4) When heat exhaustion is setting in, you might as well pull over, because your going to tip over anyways.
5) Even the guys who ride four wheels (four wheelers) offer a helping hand when you're broke down on the trail
