OK so the rules state 70$ entry for each purse paying class, so why do they still charge 70$ in UNL GP when it is trophy only? GTO always pays certs so the 70$ is justified, but most UNL GP races so far in the MA region have been trophy only, so whats up ??? IMO it should be 50$ for when it is a trophy race and 70$ for when it pays.
It should be 50...except... remember, the FIRST non-paying class is 70 as well. So, GTO = 70, any class after that = 70, the next = 50 and the next = 35.
All the fusa races, the gp is trophy only so the fusa don't cherry pick but do anyways...
When it is with a fusa weekend, it is trophy only. So the entry fee is the same as for any other trophy class.But I have noticed they won't do it unless you tell them. Unfortunately there is no provision for that with the online pre-entry. The reason many of the fusa guys still run it is for the Suzuki contingency which is $2000 for first place.

fwiw, i am never going to do another CCS/FUSA event. The people running the show haven't a clue on how to run a series that INCLUDES safety and insteads makes choices that puts riders in tough positions in regards to their health.
I intend to write up a full report on this issue to RRW and hope they investigaste the BS that went on at VIR last weekend.

can you give some details please, i'm sure alot of use would rather not wait until whatever rrw issue comes out
once again there were a lot of red flags on saturday and CCS didnt get all the qualifying sessions in on saturday. postponed it until sunday morning, when it rained. a lot of crashes in the morning, some people got hurt.
I've never been to a FUSA weekend when they got everything done without moving qual sessions or shortening races.
To start, UNSS was red flagged three times. Fine, I can accept that.
What I can't accept is that they decided last minute to move it to the end of the day, which was 10 minutes after the GTO race, a race in which many riders had just finished on a set of slicks. I went and explained how they were risking saftey by now allowing time for tire changes and proper tire warmup. CCS said they refused to move the race, etc.
On Saturday they canceled UNGP qualifying (so much for the extra money I paid for track time) and decided to use the Sunday morning practice times for gridding. Problem was practice was shared with several other groups--I told the CCS officials that they should do something about it or else someone was gonna get hurt. They told me to 'deal with it'.
According to the printed sheets, Sunday morning practice started at 8:30. I set my alarm for 7 so I could get up, set pressures, turn on the warmers, etc. I was in the 2nd group.
Well, 8:00 comes around and they announce first practice's 3rd call. My group came up shortly afterwards in 10 minutes and my tires weren't even close to up to temp, but as gridding was based on the times (and I was gonna be short a track session to begin with, what choice did I have?).
To end the story, I highsided myself out going up the hill on the first lap just as it began to rain (no flags present).
This kind of hedging of bets on OUR safety or their ability to properly plan a race event is poor to say the least. Other orgs PLAN for delays and add extra space padding for it--not CCS though. They try to cram as many events and such into a single day as possible and when hell breaks loose, they tell the competitors to eat it and risk their own lives because of it.
