So who all plans on attending? Whatcha riding and whatcha racin'?? 8)
Nope
Count me in.
and you know this man!!
i'll be there...
no practice just sat and sun
I'll learn the track in gtu...lol
gonna beee theree !!!!
Not sure about friday practice tho ???
GT races should be about 28 laps, plenty of time to learn the track. lol
I'm there...no friday practice for me either...but sat & sun
I live close, but the bike has suspension issues, the rear tire is shot, and (I'm sure no one who knows me could see this coming....) I'm broke! I'll probably bring the bike just to take it apart and do some suspension work with Lithium. Otherwise, I'll be playing Pit Beeyatch for Dave Vaughn and Ike Anderson!
Hey,I'd rather ride, but showing up and helping my buddies is soooo much better than staying home!
I'll be there Friday, Sat, and probably Sun. Right now MWGP, F40, HWSS, ULSS, and GTU. May drop some (Sun) if my kids can't take 3 days at the track. 711, 78, 434, & 308 will be there Fri-Sun as well as far as I know. Can't wait.
Quote Otherwise, I'll be playing Pit Beeyatch for Dave Vaughn and Ike Anderson!
Dang Chris you dissin' me outta the crew! :'(
I'll be there ;D
In ;D
And so exited about running a new track...
I'm like a school gurl ;)

Dave AND Ike! wow... this is gonna be like old times... I can't wait.
2 newbees coming, Friday school, Saturday GTO and GTU.
We'll be there sometime Friday evening. Somebody greet us with a cold beer............ ;D ;D ;D
I plan on being there. LWSS, LWGP, ST. May enter Thunderbike if I decide to hold off on drinking for that long.
This is a bit off topic and I may have to start another thread. If somebody plans on showing up for the LP day ONLY, do they have to pony up the weekend gate fee as well? A buddy of mine may head down, but not if there's a $25 gate fee as well.
Am I right in thinking that we're going to get charged $30 to camp - even though they have offer no showers or electricty and I'm only going to be in a tent?

No campfires either....
I'm going to a Hotel...
I always woundered how racing would be if I got a good nights sleep.

Does anyone know what the paddock is like? Paved? Grass?
QuoteDoes anyone know what the paddock is like? Paved? Grass?
There is a rectangular area that is paved. It sounded like management parked people in this area, close. If CCS doesn't have the whole thing rented, which I don't think they do, then half of the paved area will be set aside for members only. Otherwise there is a paved entrance road and people will park along that--similar to Blackhawk.
Which ever track we are on, the members will have the other track so the paved paddock is split. there is plenty of room for everyone off the paved area.
Refreshment stand is good but a little pricey. there is a small selection of Starbucks coffees.
Porta-a-potties are everywhere, no showers, I saw no electrics but someone said there are very limited hookups in the paved area.
Camping is $30 for a motorhome, trailer, I don't know about tent fees for sure but I don't recall a different price. That was a subject of discussion the last time we were there. What exactly are we paying a camping fee for? The privilege of parking at their race track? You would think for a fee they would have to offer something.
The place is a work in progress so give them a chance. They just brought in a bunch of Air fence Bike (same as at Blackhawk) and it is ready for use.
I'm sure there will be improvements everytime we go there until it is finished.
The WERA National weekend went off really well on the south course. The north course is short and should bring some very quick lap times, under a minute I would think.
Looking forward to a great weekend, see y'all there.
Almost have the bike back together after Road America's incedent, but I will be there for the Friday practice to learn the track and the rest of the weekend. Not to be a jerk or anything but i'm gonna be sleeping in my own bed, I live about 30 minutes from the track. I agree though,I don't think they should not charge for camping until they get everything in place.

Don't blame me! Ike was the one who said you were off the team! Something about you not trying hard enough, and having no skills? You'd better talk to him, MJ....

What?? They told me the team broke up! Musta have been skurd to tell me cuz I was showing them up too much and reformed without me! ;D ;D ;D
While I would prefer camping for free, $30 is fine by me for the convenience of being able to stay at the track vice elsewhere.
I'll be there, way closer than BHF for me. Goin Friday even though the weather man said it was going to be 94 degrees!
Racetrack, leathers, helmet, 94 degrees and sweating like a pig. OR, Suit, tie, 72 degrees of climate controlled office and easy listening music. No contest.
QuoteI'll learn the track in gtu...lol
Funny boy Dan. I thought your 1:03-s at the NESBA day 2 weeks ago were pretty good. ;) (We all need to pick it up though. I've heard 58-s are going to be needed to win an expert race.)
I'll be there, on old tires!! There are NO MORE 125 dunlops in the USA!!!
I will be there. I promise to stay the whole weekend this time. Does anybody know if dogs are allowed?
Dogs are allowed, leashed and cleaned up after........
