Title: Camping at RRR??
Post by: gsxr_rcr on June 07, 2005, 10:44:08 PM
I assume we can camp at Roebling Road but does anyone know the cost??

I looked into hotels and they want 75-95 bucks a night for a roach motel, thats insane.

Anyone else gonna camp?

I don't think it's much to camp.  I think it may even be covered in the gate fee.  Call them though... the # is on their website: www.roeblingroad.com

There is a few cheapo hotel rooms right around the area.  I think a Ramada limited for 45 bux a night.

its usually about $10 or so, but you better bring an anti aircraft gun for the skeeters.

Find a local hotel.  Between the heat and mosquitoes....plus the quite, hot showers, realtively clean bathrooms....it's worth the money to stay in the hotels just off of I95 in pooler.  I tried camping once....made half the night before I went to a hotel.  Never again.....especially at Roebling!  (Plus some of the hotels have a pool!!!)

They do have a new bathroom/shower w/ AC. or I would never camp there.  A good air matress &  fan...it aint that bad.  I'm camping and saving the money for the lodge room at VIR!
