Title: SV Gearing for VIR

What would be the BEST gearing choice on a SV for VIR?  Just wondering.  :-/

No, that was my stunt double there...j/k. I was just wondering what the hot setup was for gearing there......I gotta keep my streek up on holeshots ;) I'm going to try a 15 front and a 44 rear?

on an 02 sv ., i was runnign 2 up in the rear from stock., and woould top out just after the tree....   i needed taller gearing ., maybe trying 1 up from stock instead., or even stock..

15 x 45 seems to work pretty well for me.

Good luck down there! I may show up to bother everyone I can't be racing with...you know, hang out in their pits, eat their food, give bad gearing advice...(j/k)  :P

LOL ;D You would never give me bad gearing advise....right? ;) Thanks I was going to try the 45 in practice. Maybe see yah down there?

Stock for the naked SV is 15/45, on the S model its 15/44. On SS motors 15/45 works good at VIR unless you are in the 1.41 lap time range then a 44 rear might work as you need to carry more corner speed with the 44 to get a good drive at the exit. Dont even think of using a 15/46, you will get killed on the front straight.

I knew I shoulda went with a 44. Good jorb this weekend Chris. I wasn't that far behind you this time.  ;)
