Got a buddy who needs his fork seals replaced on his F2. He's a broke college kid and needs a good deal (which he isn't finding from the dealers in town).
So I told him that I would check out the race community for suggestions - because I know some of you have "the hook up" ;) ;D
Any suggestions? We can take them off, drain them, and send them.........
Thanks
Aaron

I sent an e-mail through the trackside web site. Just waiting for a response. ;)
You're in Madison...
Just go to Motorcycle Performance...
Or you can do them yourself. Forkseals aint nothing.

To bad your in the north. I love showing people how easy forks can be. Get someone who not only is willing to change them, but also walk you through it so you can do it yourself. I started racing as a broke college kid and the only way I could afford it was because I also was a mechanic. Once you learn how to do everything you'll realize how ridiculous some of the dealer prices are.
I changed teh seals on my F2 myself. THey are simple.
YOu will need to make a seal driver (I used a PVC pipe cut to just fit over teh slider with 2 hose clamps to pich it just enough. Worked great. SHould take about an hour or so if you have the manual to go by.
