Dude are you ok? I saw you get a nasty highside coming out of turn 7 duting supertwins. I went left to miss your bike but instead headed right towards you as you got pitched like a rag doll. I tried to steer some more but lost it in the sand. Glad I didn't hit you although I banged myself up in the process. Were you hurt?
That might have been 841, Greg... But he got hit by another rider in T7 which caused him to go down. Other dude broke his collar bone.
Lucky for me I'm crash resistant so other than being a little bruised I'm good!
So you didn't hit me? It felt like something hit my rear end and kicked it out, and then I saw you right next to me after I stopped sliding and my rear axle was crooked like it got hit hard on the back wheel after I got back on it so I just assumed I got taken out.. ??? Thanks for not running me over though!
Rich, I was right behind both of you when it happened and it looked bad. I saw you go left to avoid him, and yeah he got thrown pretty hard. That was a bad spot still a little wet on the outside there.
For the record I can verify he didn't hit you, like I said I think you caught that damp patch on the outside of the track while on the gas, looked like the rear end stepped out, then got past the damp spot, and when it did it got traction that was probably what you felt, and that was what threw you. Glad you're ok thought.
Greg! you liar!!! you know we'd have ridiculed you soooooo much more if we only knew it was all your fault! LOL...

lol!! Did you see my helmet? I'm surprised I remembered as much as I did!! ;D
Oh sure... now claim a head injury... ::)
Na.. I'll claim a right hand injury. Stupid wrist snaps open the throttle too fast. :-/

Seeing it, and having done almost the same thing in the LWSB race on an SV, I don't think it was even that, I think it was simply a matter of feeling good because there was a dry line and there was, then catching the spot that wasn't dry, then another dry patch. At least that's sure what it looked like from right behind you guys.
If you need a new RC to race I have one for sale. I can tell you about highsides......glad your ok.
Mike

No Jeff Rich didnt hit Greg. I was working T7 and seen Greg starting highside then seen Rich's bike on its side in teh gravel. We heard Gregs bike's motor spin up and then off he goes. At first I didnt know how Rich went down and assumed he clipped Gregs bike after it went down. There was a guy videotaping from T7 and got it. Rich ended up in the gravel and lost the bike. Thought for sure Greg was gonna be the one hurt, not Rich.
Greg, did ya get a headache from the cornerworker that was helping you at first pounding the side of you helmet to get the visor clipped in?
Yeah, the truth came out Rob... LOL (sorry Greg, just bustin your chops)
I saw Rich behind me after I got up and just assumed I was clipped too.. I really don't even remember what probably was the most interesting part of the accident, I can remember feeling the back end sliding out and hearing the motor rev, and the next thing I remember was me tumbling for what seemed like forever..
I didn't get a headache from the pounding, but it must've looked pretty funny :) That visor just didn't want to go back on the helmet!
Anyone know the name of the guy videotaping?
I got a copy of it on CD. Its not very good, but I'll send it two you or post it on my site when I get a chance.
Yeah dude, you had a major ugly highside. It was a poster child of highsides - bike went everywhere and then pitched your ass. I've heard of people having rodeo sex with their wives and not getting thrown that hard.
I went off the road to miss your bike and then tried to change directions when I saw you. I lost it in the sand and broke my collar bone. Why oh why didn't I go right? Cause of the drive? Target fixation? Cause I'm a moron? Cause I had no idea what way your bike would end up? One of life's great mysteries, but it could have been much worse. I can't believe you got up after that I thought you were a dead man.
Get well soon Rich !

Yeah!
Thanks guys. You think I'll be able to race in time for HPT?
Of course I'll be in no condition to work on my bike prior to that......fortunately Chuck and R1Abuser have graciously volunteered to do it for me for the low price of a six pack of Coors for Chuck and Sprite for Dan.

Sounds like a couple of racers....
