Title: ALONE
Post by: Gixxerblade on May 23, 2005, 04:01:43 PM
Is anyone else, besides the one whose pit crew(wife) has to work this weekend,  going Summit by their lonesome? I hate going to the track alone and was wondering if anyone needed company since I don't have any friend that A. Don't have anything else planned for this weekend. B. Don't have enough interest in roadracing to give a rats a$$.

Pretty much alone, though my sister may come and watch.  Remember me, blue SV #440 EX.  This time I'll have a trailer that I'm picking up tomorrow.  I'll be taking everything up Thursday evening, riding home, then heading back up midday Friday and stay until evening.

I'm sure a few non-racer friends may stop by at some point too.

Feel free to pit near me.  Bad Monkey (Also on an SV) will be coming up with wife & kid.  I'm local to Summit so I go home at night...but there will be friends around the pit all weekend.  (Plus I ride an SV as well...and can tell you about the original Steve Clark and his rat bikes!)

Cool. Happy. Is there anyone that knows how to install the Factory Pro shift kit? I will be there and would be a willing student to someone to show me.

gixxer, i replied to you on the wera boards.  i just put mine in my 600rr two weeks ago.  if you have a service manual with torque specs i'll gladly show you how to do it.  also....like i said there....get me the clutch basket nut size.....as it is easiest to just use a impact driver on it instead of risking breaking the clutch basket with a holder.  i just need to know the size so i can borrow the right size impact socket.  lmk.

Yeah...I put the one in my bike.  It's not particularly difficult.  (Plus Bad Monkey is a mechanically inclined individual...he built his 700)
