I'm making the switch from the GSXR to the R6 this year and I wondering what gearing along with lap times all you 03-04 R6 riders use at various tracks in the midwest. I know it's probably some what of a secret I could sure use the help!! I'm especially interested in Hallett and Mid-America.
Thanks,
Kurt.
Just ask Superdave ;D
don't forget tire brand, different tires = different sizes = different gearing at a lot of places
Good call on the tire brands, I hadn't thought about that. I'll be running Michelins, but I haven't tried the new profile yet.
Thanks for the reply's, I'll have to PM Superdave.
Take care,
Kurt.

If you've came to one of my schools, I'll usually give that advice... :)
And Mr Janisch has it right...he's been to my schools... Additionally, the tires within a brand can be different. The new Michelin's are different than the previous ones.
I know but I'm not telling.
;)
...sup Kurt....
It's top secret...lol ;)

Okay okay. Now we got Stumpy yelling at us, jeez. Sorry man, I didn't mean to be mean.
For Topeka, I'd say start off with 17/45 and go from there. It's what I run at BHF. Maybe.
;D :-*
*cough*15*cough*50*cough*... damn flu...

17-45 jim are you trying to do the bonneville salt-flat, top speed runs...lol
Kurt I'd have to check my notes on what gearing...I would guess 15-47-48ish...give me a call later and I'll look it up for you.

shhhhhh ;) C'mon now, how much fun would it have been to show up at Topeka and see him scratching his head over 17/45 gearing? ;)
Buried in-between my coughing, I mentioned 15/50. I think that's what I ran there last time... BHF gearing, and I think it worked ok. I was only doing 35s though... you and Mike were both in the 34s, so maybe the gearing was holding me back. ??

17/45 maybe?? Remind me not to borrow your suspension notes!! I'm getting ready to buy gearing, I'll probably start out with 15/47-50. Thanks for the help. I think?
Later,
Kurt.
