Title: Penske reservoir mouting for 06 gsxr 1000
Post by: mjgill1 on February 28, 2007, 03:10:43 PM
I need a bit of advise here. I have a 06 GSX-R 1000 and am putting on a Penske tripple. I have the shock mounted so that the rebound adjustment is facing the left side of the bike and is accessable. The trouble is there doesn't seem to be anywhere to put the reservoir. I wanted to put it under the battery tray but the rectifier is in the way. Do I need to buy a longer hose in order to put it somewhere else?  Any help especeially with pics would be great! Thanks.

What did you come up with?

put that sucker in a vise and rotated the whole shaft inside the shock so that the hose and rebound were facing the same direction.  That's what the Thermosman told me to do and it worked like a charm. That's what having little suspension experience will do to you lol
