QuoteLOL, it's a good thing you don't have a Gixxer 1000 for sale...  ;)
I DO!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D
Damn I'm slow

But really either one of those 2 bikes are great starter bikes plus you can run hwsportsman with the F3.  plus the middle wieght classes too

I can vouch for Cornerspeed.  Aaron's a good guy, and he always has some of the best instructors out there.  For example, Lee Acree and Scott Harwell were guest instructors when I took the course.  You get as much personal attention as you want, and TONS of track time.  Plus, you get to take it at VIR, which is the nicest track around.  Go for it!

Hey Newjack
I too run both of those bikes and they both allow you to run with some very fast guys and this will help you get fast just by watching and learning. I found out the sv is more forgiving in the corners and brakes a lot better so my suggestion would be go with the sv and have a blast

I too, am going to try my hand next year - what about the Code Race 2 days school? Anyone know about it?
Thanks,!!

When you look at schools it is also important to look at what you have to do after you take the school to get your license. Another license prep class? Another fee? After you attend some of the schools you then have to take a class to "qualify" you for your license for an additional fee of $105.00. Check about "total" fees before you jump. By the way I don't know about Cornerspeed other than they have a good reputation.

A MZ Skorpion with about 50hp would really teach you about carrying corner speed.  Plus, it doesn't burn up tires or go through brake pads very often.

Oh, I have one for sale with lots of spare in the ads section  ;-)

Really it is a nice way to start because the power doesn't complicant the learning process.

Bruce "with no shame"

Hey Bruce...check this out http://www.2wf.com/classifieds/

There is a guy looking for a Skorp.

Go get 'em,
Pete
