Mark #1: Glad to hear you're feeling better.

Mark #2: Yeah, life is getting tough over here at the Tranny. Schedules not conducive to racing!

I would try to gut the breather on the 800, then have Al or some other master fabricator build a big breather box. I'm continuing to run SS legal so the airbox had to remain "as produced". Like I said above, on the MCP dyno we made another 2 HP with the breather routed to the airbox, I think it sucks out the crankcase and creates a vaccum. Of course the power gain is probably offset by all of the oil being sucked in the engine! Hey, at least my valvetrain is well lubed, right?

FYI Mark #2 I had a setup like that on my old 750 and temporarily on the 1000, but I got fined at tech for not being in compliance. Henry waved it after I fixed it (routed the overflow back to the airbox).

See you clowns at the track!

Dry sump on my 800 would be pretty cool. I must do something about the breather and add a larger breather box-On the hunt for more power.

Hey Mark, since the 800 is smaller maybe you could try the breather box I took off the 1000? Too small for the 1000 but maybe it will work on your bike? I'll bring it to Homestead.

Gino- That would be very cool of you. I have spopken with Al about the larger breather box and it is on my list of mods. I think it probably would work just fine for me. So all you did was to take the guts out of the stock crankcase breather?

We shall see you at Homestead.
