Title: Tax Dollars hard at work...
Post by: cardzilla on June 08, 2006, 07:34:39 AM
Glad to see that with murderers, drug dealers, terrorists and rapists on the loose that the authorities still have the wisdom to nab the REAL criminals among us  :jerkoff:  :wtf:

Well he did violate a fed law by selling bikes he declared as for competiton uses only (which they wouldnt need to comply with FMVSS regs) but sold them for on road use.

andrew traded bikes w/me and a friend. the bike i picked had no title or certificate of origin(of course i didnt know this and he didnt tell me) and american honda would not issue another one. he then sold my bike knowing my credit union would not release the title w/out one to replace it as colateral. this caused years of legal and financial trouble for me. ask around about andrew wright... his rep speaks for itself and he deserves (more than) what he gets...  :jerkoff:

From what I remember there were alot of duped people writing in to RRW and that led to him not being allowed to advertise with them..... :kicknuts:

Hmmm, had no idea he was a shady character in dealings with his customers... perhaps kharma is circular.  As to the fact he circumnavigated the "laws" about importing... I'm not a real fan of the B.S. that the gov't shoves down our throats about "pollution".  Like several hundred 2 strokes are going to make a difference.  As usual, there are many ulterior motives when it comes to the eco-warriors.

Wasn't this the sub-plot from the movie Rainman? :pop:

I mean,  like there's a way you WON'T get caught if you try something like that?

His deal about 10 years ago was selling high-end wheels (Marvic or Marchesini IIRC). Send him your money and the wrong, or no wheels show up.  It was battled out in the "Letters" section of RRW for about 4 issues before JU banned him from advertising.  Apparently, he screwed a bunch of people, changed the name of his company and started all over again.

All this is from memory, so feel free to correct me.

I hope he finds a nice husband in prison!

So Larry, what are you saying?

Bottom line, the guy is a criminal and has affect a LOT of people and should pay for it.
