Is there any indication when the 2011 race scedule will be posted?
Yes. I have it on good authority that it won't be until after Nov 24th.
Hmmmm, that's strange, I heard it wouldn't be until after Nov 23.
Obviously there's some misinformation floating around!
All kidding aside it is possible to infer that we will be @ BHF May, July, Aug and Sept. RA will probably be in June and Topeka in April. This is based on Motovid dates. This is highly speculative so don't make plans on the WAG.
I've already penciled in the Motovid days in my calendar. Bring it.
My anxiety level is different this year than in past years.
It's gone from hoping race dates work out for my schedule.... to....
Hoping there ARE race dates for 2011! :ahhh:
Yeah it's not looking good. Cannot believe that we have so few racers in a huge market such as Chicagoland. The economy there totally sucks. Unless you're a C- level exec.; those F!@#$%g a-holes still drive their big Beemers and are seemingly unaffected by the economy. There are few jobs for engineers and middle management types. Better end this rant now...
I suspect that many/most racers in chicagoland have opted for WERA. The only reason I spent so much last year on the CMRA is because it's the only true endurance series @ the club level. WERA does have a series but requires travel across the US and most races are only 4 hrs. TC is fun but it's really two AMA length sprint races since they typically last only 1:45 and you are forced to do a rider change -guess I could run it solo - may consider that next year....& you have to travel cross-country. The CMRA thing worked because we had a teamate in Houston - Dallas would have been more appropriate...
So we are all going to meet at roebling in may for the season opener, grand finale, and race of champions race lol.

hoping the ROC will be at Daytona, that was the impression i got in reading the article ccs put out recently.
WERA just released their schedule. They are having a National at Roebling Mar 18-20, right after the proposed CCS opener at Roebling. Very interesting.......
CCS Florida:
HMS February 12-13
JGP April 2-3
HMS April 28-May 1
PBIR May 29-30
HMS June 25-26
PBIR July 30-31
HMS August 20-21
JGP October 1-2
HMS December 3-4
I thought daytona. ROC was a done deal. Could be worse I think the drag bikers only had 2 natonal meets this year
That's a start, but was kinda hoping for Mid-Atlantic and Atlantic / New Jersey.
Any info on what the Midwest schedule is?
Thanks.
Next you will want the world.
How do you get to the WERA 2011 schedule? Do you have to be a registered racer to see it?

I imagine road america will be on the july 4th weekend
this sucks. I'm impatient....... HURRY UP!!!!
I predict something will come out tomorrow as in Friday 3 DEC 2010...........
Ok it's Friday.. Is it out yet?
LOL! Hey until 2359.... It's still Friday. Patience Grasshopper.
according to NJMP website three weekends are scheduled
May 13 - 15
July 15 - 17
August 12 - 14
My thought is the schedule will come out after the last race of the 2010 season is over. ( This weekend from HMS) I'd say look for it come Monday.

Same here
I think the NJMP calendar is all messed up. The have all of the CCS/NJMP races on weekdays, some are even scheduled the same day, and track, as other bike events.
Can anyone from CCS confirm what NJMP is doing for 2011?

Don't worry. It will be out soon enough. You'll be able to go out on your desmoseducci and kick some 600 ass...
.....How hard would it be to release a tentative schedule, "subject to change"???? Obviously people want to know, at least have an ideo, so plans can be made. Customer Service, Customer Service, Customer Service. With all the jibba-jabber about transponder's, I picked one up on the WERA forum and now that I have one, as I said above, the WERA North Florida schedule, WHICH IS ALREADY OUT, is looking real good for me since I'm in Jacksonville.
"You'll be able to go out on your desmoseducci and kick some 600 ass... "
I believe the proper term was "'spank' some 600 ass... " :lmao:
now where's my carbon fiber butt-wiper!

That's back-fired in the past, for example when the 'tentative schedule' said there would be a FUSA / CCS Road America event on a certain date and then was changed to Heartland Park on the updated schedule. Numerous racers showed up to Road America on that weekend because they were going off the tenative schedule that was initially released and never switched to the updated schedule - lots of bitching happened over that one.
I understand people having to set vacation days and such, but what happens if those people schedule their vacation days off the tentative CCS race schedule and then some dates get changed on the updated CCS race schedule? There will never be a situation where EVERYONE is happy. :banghead:

Thank you for posting the Tentative Schedule, it definetly helps all of us start to plan our year.
Hmmm wonder if some of those nj dates will be lightning? They all say Tbolt though. MA is a pretty long schedule. Hmmm....
It's been a few years since I've been to Blackhawk.. looks like I'll make it there in 2011.. first time there was 1989:D

I can't remember when they made the modification to the track, was that before the 'bus stop' was added between the carousel and turn 4?

I wonder how this is going to work for all the great plains riders.. are we mid west now and have to pick whats left over for numbers from the returning mw riders?

If they go off when it is received in the office - I haven't sent mine out yet - It's in process - But you know how that goes... Anyhow - I really don't care what # I get - Just so long as my CCS/ASRA/AMA #'s are all the same... Doubt that will happen tho.....
I'm kinda curious as to how the rules are going to work out in the regards of #'s - Again - I don't really care one way or the other... Since I have been racing I have run:
CCS/ASRA:727,72,106,61
WERA:727,99,61
AMA: 727,106,24
CRA: 61
Might have missed some. I don't mind having a different # - I just don't like having to switch numbers each weekend you run with a different ORG. The worst is having to switch # during an event - As in CCS/ASRA..
What is your list Jim?
I've been:
165,169,65,54,67,85,2,70,261,51,
12,461,71,61,76,29..
And I'm sure I have forgotten at least a couple.. LOL.
Good times have been had over the years!
Ive been running my name down the side of my bike lately, so you know who I am anyway! Lol

Maybe we can start using letters?
Then a "two digit" letter system could cover more riders. LOL!
724, 741, 224, 36, 78, 262, 74, 75, 3, 7, 1, 28, 271, and the 26.
See.. I forgot 218.
