With eyes wide open, I'll be making a classic rookie mistake by blundering into the HW Twins class on a bike that's too powerful for me (RC51).  :D :o

make sur that you replace the frount springs rear shock and put a full exhust on it or the bike doesnt ride well. my friend Brian had one last year and he fought tit all the way through the seaso. We were told that that was the problem. JOE

;D  I agree about the springs and shock, but a full exhaust?  I haven't seen many full systems that improve on the stock headers on the RC.  I'll be sticking with slip-ons at least for this year.   ;)

tigerblade, the reason that you have to put the full pipe on is tha when honda made the bike they shorten the front springs and rear shocks to lower the bike .When you get the right rear shock an frount springs you'll fing that the shock will hit the stock exuste, the new systen will eliminat that and youll find it rides allot betterr  JOE

Ice-

I happen to know, very well, most every Top 15 MW, GP, and GL amateur from last year and to my knowledge none of them raced for rule 1, but then again I know racers better by name and/or number and leathers then team.  Perhaps you would enlighten us as to names.  I do remember at Mid-America there were a couple of fast locals who usually raced CRA and had been there several times before, it was CCS first visit.  Also, a few at Road America who were fast and not "regulars".

Judging by your 301 and being from Chicago, you might be James Casmay???  If so, then, yeah, you were tough to pass ;) :P

It is.  At Daytona in 2001, we had to grind the shock linkage to make more space.  The stock exhaust IS in the way.

The RC is really weird stock on a race track.  I was riding an RC51 and a 1969 Honda CR750.  The CR was better to ride than the RC.  The RC wanted to throw me off on the banking.  Really, really bad.  Got better when we made massive changes.

What's up Sdiver, Ike, Dave and the rest of my fellow and former fellow (if you went white...... number plates that is..........) dicers!!!!!!!

Yeah I think it might have been Didier that was stomping on us (me at least) last year.

I saw Rule One twice last year.  Once on the first weekend at RA and the second was at Gingerman.  I say "they" because at Gingerman, there were two guys who showed up with Rule One colors and both did rather well.

At RA there was some good racing going on for positions 2, 3, and 4, but Didier was gooooooooneeeeeeeeee...

He pulled a similar stunt at Gingerman later in the year.
Because I didn't see Rule One at all of the races, I was wondering if I can look forward to getting stomped again when they show up.

Ok ... I just checked some pictures my brother had taken at Gingerman and the Rule One rider numbers were 115 which I think is Didier and I believe 341.

I had a hard time getting the other rider's number because the camera was focused on Dave Vaughn who was in front of 341 at the time

I can't seem to find 2002 results on the CCS web page to verify names and results...

Yep...That's the other Rule One guy 391

You probably blinded him with a combination of your infamous oil slick / golden glint - Spyhunter moves causing him to go down:D :D

I still have to lay claim to the best oil slick ever with a full blown, hole through the cases, melt-down at the Gateway race in March.  Sorry you missed it...You would have been proud :D ;D

BTW are you racing this year??

Hmmm, since I was bumped to expert I have decided to not race.  Instead, I will support the efforts of my long lost twin brother, Stephano, in his quest for an amateur championship :D

Stephano was a POW of Desert Storm that the Iraqi's never gave up from '91, recently discovered and freed by the advance Special Units forces already in Iraq for the upcoming dictator purge.

Would you question a guy with dogtags on???  ;)

well.....
if i see him at the track, all i can hope is that he aint as fast as his big bro. (now, who's the oldest? and by how much?) or... that since he's been
away so long (i hope they didnt let him ride!!!) maybe he's rusty and takes time to "get up to speed"   ;D

Thanks for the thoughts, Ike...

I don't know if I still remember how to ride, it's been so damn cold and wet for so long here.  Sunday is supposed to be sunny and 60, hopefully the Duc will start.  You never know... :O
