pitbikes at daytona?

Are bicycles and motorized pit bikes allowed at Daytona?

The 1st year I went to the ROC (1998) I got stopped by security for riding a bicycle in the pits so I've never brought one again.

BUT.......I thought I read they got rid of that rule a couple years ago?

I was trying to find something on the DIS website concerning this but didn't find anything.

When i was there for the ROC last year & the Spring race this  year, I brought my pitbike, Rode it everywhere. No one said a word
