This is going out to anyone who might know what happened in race 1 (middleweight GP ex & am) at Thunderhill this past Saturday (8/10) in turn 3. I was in the amature group running into turn 3 in about 5th position. I took a wider line going into that turn and ran over something. It was white and apparently soft. I think it was some sort of fabric (T-shirt?) right on one of the lines around that turn. Luckily I didn't crash, but I had to run off and fortunately was able to rejoin, although I'm sure I could have finished much better than I did if I hadn't run over that damn thing. Does anyone know what the deal with that was? Did anyone else run over it? Amazingly it was still there on lap 2. I couldn't believe it. Eventually it was cleared, but needless to say, it didn't make for the happiest part of the weekend.
