what does ccs tech check on leathers?

i had an off this past weekend and i'm trying to figure out what ccs looks for when they check leathers.  by the letter of the rulebook, i think i pass.

are tears over hard armor a problem?

Basic interigity of the leathers no seams broke open, no abrasions through the leather. no duct tape repairs

Everytime I went through tech, they just looked at it quick while it was sitting on teh tank. No real inpsection.
