1) You DO NOT NEED a CCS competition license UNLESS you are interested in RACE PRACTICE @ 120.00.
This is standard practice for CCS races, unchanged for Fri. TEST & TUNE. FYI, we have had less than 20 RACERS for the ENTIRE race practice participate in the last two Fri. TEST & TUNE Race Practices, a big loss to the race track. So we are not concerned with OVERSELLING RACE PRACTICE based on demand, highly unlikely.
IF you are a current RACER and want to practice, sign up here:
http://www.motovid.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=2_5&products_id=12This will cost you $120.00 for the ENTIRE day...
2) $150.00 Track Day @ BFR on a Sat. (A Group only, with invite to all MSB riders) is a pretty good deal. Most other weekend Track Day orgs. charge 185-195.00 per weekend event. Once again THIS DOES NOT REQUIRE A RACE LICENSE to participate or membership fee. Grid is VERY LIMITED, Sign up here, already have 4-5 Riders since yesterday.

3) Rider Clinic will be sold out for certain with our largest class yet.
This costs $250.00 RACER OR NOT
While I can see your concerns surrounding a fluid schedule/format, please understand, Blackhawk Farms Raceway and Motovid.com are doing everything possible to make the CCS weekend a success in a very difficult circumstance. Safety is always paramount and dictates running groups, rules, sessions, etc. These immediate efforts are purely an attempt to keep Motorcycle Road Racing events at BHF healthy.
Here is a reality check;
At the moment, we have NO race entries for RACE PRACTICE, yet must accommodate racers that are competing on Sun. with an event on Sat. that is designed to mitigate the track's LOSS due to the change in schedule with CCS, the race organization.
We understand this, welcome this and will maintain a RACE GROUP OPTION before our road race events, but still need to operate in the green for the track is a business.
The Riders Clinic & Invitational Advance group inclusion on Sat. pay the bills to keep the lights on at the race track for the race series during these tough economic times in this way. Until stand alone Race events can pay the bills, they (racers) should understand this constraint and "share" the time & space.
Please understand, we ALL want motorcycle road racing to succeed @ BHF and are doing what we can to assist. TRACK DAYS ARE NOT RACING. Both Motovid.com and BHF have taken a hit due to this schedule change, but we understand the need and welcome the sacrifice for the cause.
Hope to see more race veterans supporting the race track and its club series both with their DIRECT effort (racing activity) and involvement = cash ($$$).
Everyone needs to be POSITIVELY involved and supportive. Motovid.com is using its direct efforts and resources to help bridge the gap for Blackhawk Farms Raceway.
see you at the track,
Blackhawk Farms Raceway
