But its still a good idea to have a master kill that kills everything (just like the ignition switch does). The bar mount just kills the engine, but the electrics still usually function.
Couple years ago I had to pick up a R6 whos tanks broke open and had gas everywhere. Right bar was totally gone (as was the switch). ignition was removed. Problem was the guages were sparking since there was still power going to them. If people are going to remove the ignition switch, they need to have a standardized place on a bike for a master kill so safety crews know where it is.
