« on: January 18, 2009, 10:36:37 AM »
The oil light on my gsxr has came on and won't turn off The oil level is good and i have checked for air pockets in the oil by loosening the filter while the engine was running Hopefully someone can tell me what to try next to solve the problem. :banghead:
Thanks Guys!

Is the light an oil level light or an oil pressure light?

Have you checked that the sensor is functioning properly?

Have you checked the wiring?

When was the last time you rebuilt your engine?

Thanks for getting back to me . The engine was never rebuilt there is  3,800 track miles on the engine. I checked the wiring and all seems good but later this week i will check the sensor. Thanks again for the information.
