Excellent idea BE!
Best wishes to your friend Tim.

this is from Josh King, another 1st year GP racer... tells it like it is at the end

Tim I'm sorry to hear about Jason, hes a great guy and a very talented rider. I made a donation and picked up a couple shirts hopefully most of the merchandise money gets through to the riders. I hope I never find myself in the situation but am glad there is a fund set up for the riders.

To those that dont know Jason he is very cool, and was super nice to me my first time at the track, he deserves all the help he can get. I hope he heals up quick and gets back to carrying Tims weight on the team challenge.

I hope so too

Tim,

Sorry to read about Jason. I've not met him, but he sounds like a good guy. Carter and I prayed for him last night.

From what I've gathered from the other boards, it sounds like he is going to be OK.

I will donate to Wegman tonight. Wegman helped my brother last year and is a really great organization.

Do you know if Wegman takes paypal?

Scott

More support coming in from the R6 message net, hang in there Jason.  I'll try to make a trip there to see you with some of the guys from STL/Columbia  :thumb:

Just an update....

Jason is out of surgery and doing good.  He'll be in ICU for a few more days, and then should be able to come home soon.  Hopefully by next week.  I've told him about all the thoughts and prayers and he REALLY appreciates it.  He wants you guys to know how much it means to him.

very good news!!  talked with rob and grant briefly this evening about some of the details about the surgery... he's gonna have REALLY cool scars!!

I cant express how thankful I am that things are looking up!  I dont think Jason knows it but he was one of the first people to really help me at the track!  Also one of the first people to really make me feel like I was in "the family"

Thanks again to everyone that gave thoughts/prayers/donations.

Tim

oh yeah STLAR meeting just ended, not only did they donate the proceeds from the 50/50, but the winner turned around and gave back his winnings to be donated to the wegman  :thumb:

rudy... yes he is married, and they just had a baby
